Prince Albert writes that he is sure Colonel Wylde will succeed in his difficult work ahead. He states that the Junta are 'as mad as march hares' but that he is glad they have shown their true colours. Prince Albert also mentions that the Queen now has the full sympathy of the English public, which she did not have a month ago.
