Prince Albert writes that he has forwarded Colonel Wylde's letter to Lord Palmerston. He states that he has asked Lord Palmerston about staying longer in Portugal but has received no reply. Prince Albert instructs Colonel Wylde to stay a little longer and acknowledges that he, Count Mensdorff and Sir Hamilton are out of spirits but encourages them to stay cheerful.
