Letter from Thomas Spring Rice, Chancellor of the Exchequer, to Queen Victoria, regarding the outcome of a vote in the House of Commons on a grant of £70,000 for stables and a riding house at Windsor Castle. It was suggested it be reduced to £50,000 and will be voted on a second time.
