Prince Albert includes reference to Lady John, the Duke of Argyll and Lord Dunfermline in relation to the 'green Ribband' and the appointment of Mr John Elliot in place of Mr Wyse at the Board of Controul [Control]. He also writes of the expectation of the Archbishop's death, the importance of a liberal successor and asks about the age of the [Bishop] of Chester.
