Letter from Prince Albert to Lord John Russell returning his letter to Mr Disraeli (not present) and stating he hopes that his conversation with the Duke of Newcastle may 'tend to a closer union between the Whigs and Peelites', to prevent the Protectionists 'driving the country to a revolution'.
