Letter from Prince Albert to Lord John Russell regarding his conversation with Lord Granville and settling with him that an announcement should be made that the Queen is willing to be present at the opening ceremony of the Great Exhibition. He reports that the Commission is to meet the following Tuesday to discuss the matter and the necessary arrangements. Prince Albert provides suggestions for the way in which the opening ceremony may take place to accommodate the Queen.
