Prince Albert writes that he is glad Colonel Wylde is well and ready for duty again. He states that he hopes the Junta will give in without a struggle and points out that he is sure no blame can be given to him for the Porto failure. Prince Albert also writes that once the matter is settled, he will be happy for Colonel Wylde to return home.
