Prince Albert writes of the bad news that the mediation was not straight away accepted. He refers to the Queen's demand for a banishment of 12 men for 6 months and asks why Sir [Hamilton] Seymour did not meet her half way. Prince Albert also refers to Dietz and the brothers Passos.
