Letter from Lord John Russell to Queen Victoria submitting that Earl Granville should be made President of the Board of Trade, Mr Wilson be made Paymaster of the Forces and that Mr Stanley be called up to the House of Lords. He reports that if Earl Granville accepts the role that he will have to resign as Master of the Buckhounds, causing the question as to whether the office should be retained.
