Letter from D.F. Oakey to Queen Victoria on the 'Sabbath Essays' and their effect on the relative stability of the British throne, writing that 'British morality has hitherto been a guarantee for British stability'. He proposes to make the essays available for the entire country by offering bound copies to the British Museum.
