Draft letter from Prince Albert to Lord John Russell writing to express his belief that if a disturbance were to occur he is confident that the Government and 'good sense' of the country would prevail. He also writes that the Government has a duty to help the working classes 'over the present moment of distress' by practising economy in its own works.
