The Dean of Hereford recounts William IV's intention of making him a Bishop and discusses the appointment of the Bishop of Hereford. He includes reference to the Duchess of Clarence, Sir Herbert Taylor, Lord Melbourne, Dr Grey (Bishop of Hereford) and the Bishop of Norwich. The Dean of Hereford also encloses a letter from Lord Melbourne.
