Letter from Viscount Palmerston to Queen Victoria reporting on the proceedings of the Cabinet that afternoon, chiefly on considering the course to be taken with notices of motions to be made in the House of Commons. He writes that they agreed that some motions, including one on the extension of the franchise, could be approved.
