Letter from Viscount Palmerston to Queen Victoria reporting on proceedings of the latest session. He states that Sir Edward Colebrooke and Sir Charles Paget made an address in answer to Her Majesty’s speech and that Mr White made an addition regarding the Government’s failure to bring in another Reform Bill. Palmerston reports that Benjamin Disraeli and Lord John Russell also both spoke in defence of the Government.
