Letter from the Prince Consort to Lord John Russell returning a copy of a reply from the Danish government (not present) and commenting on the insolence of the language used, plus the unlikelihood of the Holsteiners and Schleswigers having their grievances addressed. The Prince also encloses an excerpt of a letter from Lady Augusta ?Brune on the state of Hungary (not present), comments on the Empress of Austria's departure and asks what kind of reception is expected by the Empress of the French.
