Letter from the Duke of Newcastle to Baron Stockmar asking that he return some documents sent to him for inspection by the Queen, so that he may prepare a reply to Lord John Russell. He writes that Russell's manner towards him has changed and he expects an 'attack or misrepresentation' of his views, particularly those relating to the Church.
