The Bishop of Oxford refers to the party at Drayton Manor including Lord Aberdeen, Hallam, Goulburn, Gordon, Lord and Lady Villiers and Buckland. He discusses his conversation with Sir Robert [Peel] regarding the Dr Hampden affair. He mentions that he is going to Lord Northampton's at Castle Ashby tomorrow and also refers to to the formation of a school for the sons of farmers in his diocese.
