Letter from Sir George Grey to Queen Victoria providing the names of five persons who had been arrested on a charge of sedition as Ernest Jones, Russell, Williams, Sharpe and Vernon, plus warrants issued to two others named May and Daly. He states that although allusion is made at some Chartist meetings to the acquisition of arms he has not received information regarding an extensive purchase of arms.
