Letter from Prince Albert to Lord John Russell reporting that he intended to put the name of a man, recommended by Russell, on his list of candidates for a commission in His Royal Highness's regiment. However, as the list is already full he also suggests putting him on the lists of the Duke of Cambridge and Duke of Wellington.
