Prince Albert writes that Mr Charles Neate would like to take on the position of secretary to the universities commission. Prince Albert forwards Lord John Russell a book written by him in French - a dialogue between Guizot and Louis Blanc. He also mentions that Mr Charles Neate was once private secretary to Sir Francis Baring.
