Prince Albert writes that Queen Victoria approves of the proposal of putting the great Seal into commission and refers to the Lord Chancellorship. Furthermore, Queen Victoria approves of the recommendation of Lord Langdale, Vice-Chancellor Shadwell and Baron Rolfe for the offices of commissioners. Prince Albert also discusses the proposal for a peerage for Baron Rolfe.
