Prince Albert refers to Queen Victoria's regret on the resignation of Lord Cottenham as Lord Chancellor and her wish for him to be raised to Viscount. Prince Albert also writes that he was wrong in considering the abolition of the Ordnance department and refers to Lord Hardinge's memorandum. Finally he discusses the Treaty with France.
