Letter from Prince Albert to Lord John Russell thanking him for his letter of congratulations on the opening of the Great Exhibition the day before. He states that 'the sight was ample repa[y]ment for any trouble during the last 2 years'. Prince Albert also mentions that there is a feeling abroad that the Exhibition will strengthen free trade, with which he agrees.
