Prince Albert expresses his relief that the Turkish complication is over. He refers to the Duke of Grafton's letter and the chancellorship at the Queen's University [in Ireland] with reference to Lord Rosse and Lord Clarendon. He also mentions that Queen Victoria feels Sir James Graham's assurance is enough to grant an English peerage to Lord Duffrein.
