Prince Albert writes that he has seen Mr Macaulay who is unable to move to Cambridge and that Sir ?J Stephen is no longer a candidate. He states that the choice is therefore mainly between Mr Kemble and Mr Woodham but argues that the former has the higher reputation in the scientific world.
