Letter from Lord Spencer to General Bowles reporting that the Coldstream Guards are lodged in the Mews and of their intention to patrol both sides of the garden, to communicate with the Guard at Hyde Park Archway. His Lordship also mentions that the Home Office had received a communication from the leaders of the Chartists and reported that they seemed anxious to 'get out of it'.
