Lord Redesdale states that he will be glad to hear that the Chancellor has changed his opinion regarding the precedents and the Duke of Cambridge's entitlement in the House of Lords. He points out that the decision does not rest solely with the Chancellor but also with the House of Lords. Lord Redesdale recommends the Duke of Cambridge not to waive his claim under the 'Old Law' but insist on the decision being based on the precedents. Copy.
