Letter from Lord John Russell to Prince Albert stating that he will convey the Queen's wishes to Lord Lansdowne and Lord Palmerston. Lord John reports that Feargus O'Connor 'made a scene' in the House of Commons. He also reports that his wife has that morning given birth to their son and although is weak and faint is generally well. As a result, he excuses himself from Council the following day.
