Dr Philpott suggests Dr Cookson, master of St Peter's College as successor to his role of University of Cambridge correspondent with Prince Albert. He also discusses Mr Clark (public orator) and Professor [George] Stokes as potential candidates. Dr Philpott mentions in addition the failure of the Vice-Chancellor in forwarding information for Prince Albert.
