Dr Philpott discusses the further step taken towards securing a site for museums and lecture rooms at the University of Cambridge and refers to the governors of the Botanic Garden. He also mentions that a professorship of divinity is about to become vacant after the resignation of Dr Corrie. Includes note dated 28 October 1853.
