Letter from Benjamin Disraeli to Queen Victoria stating that Lord John Russell disappointed the House, describing him as 'meagre & ineffective', and reporting Lord Stanley's reply was 'logical but heavy in delivery'. He reports that he is of the opinion that Lord John Russell's manoeuvre will fail.
