Sir John Nicholl's supplemental paper to his previous memorandum (VIC/MAIN/C/53/15). He states that his previous memorandum was drawn up on the assumption that the scheme [for the prevention of duelling] would be limited to the army. He states that he believes it ought to be extended to the navy and civilians as well.
