Draft letter from Queen Victoria to Lord Lansdowne stating that she has been made very anxious by the resignation of Lord Palmerston, but even more so on hearing of Lord Lansdowne's objections. The Queen requests that Lansdowne does not yet commit himself to a final decision until she has the chance to speak with him in person. Written in Prince Albert's hand.
