Draft letter from Queen Victoria to Lord Derby on the death of Lieutenant- General William Wemyss and the question of his successor as Equerry. The Queen expresses her wish to appoint Prince Albert's Equerry Colonel Bouverie to the position and as a result the Prince wishes to appoint Captain Dudley Charles De Ros to the position as his Equerry.
