Draft letter from Prince Albert to Sir Robert Peel regarding a report on the present Royal Household and his thoughts on it. He states that he feels improvements need to be made and writes 'Much as I am inclined to break the present Household machine with a sort of reverence for its antiquity I still remain convinced that it is clumsy in its original construction...'. Written in Baron Stockmar's hand.
