9 Dec 1853Loose manuscript paper | 1 document (3 pages) (whole object) | RA VIC/MAIN/F/11/8
Draft letter from Prince Albert to Lord Aberdeen reporting that Queen Victoria had consulted with Lord John Russell regarding the reform plan and on Lord Palmerston's position in relation to it. He states that the Queen believes if Lord Palmerston has made up his mind to leave the Government then they should not oppose this, as allowing him to be involved in future discussions could provide him with information to use in his opposition to the bill.
