Copy letter from Prince Albert to Lord Lansdowne requesting for firm dealing with Lord Brougham's demand for an examination of expenditure. He states that the Queen has adhered to the £12,000 afforded to her and that Lord Brougham seems determined to 'cause as much mischief as possible'. He also comments on the bad taste of Brougham's attack on the late Duke of Cambridge.
