Copy letter from Lord Aberdeen to Queen Victoria reporting that Sir George Grey is still reluctant to take office and wishes to have an interview with Lord John Russell before making a decision. He also reports that he is concerned that Lord Palmerston's return to the House of Commons may cause some instability in the Government and under those circumstances requests that the Queen postpone the meeting of the Council, so that he may also confer with Lord John Russell.
