Copy letter from Colonel Charles Grey to Henry Wood confirming that he had laid his previous letter, and a copy of the Tailor's Guild Prospectus, before Prince Albert. He reports that the Prince is glad to see the condition of the working man receiving more attention and consideration, and that he views it as 'one of the most important questions of the present day'. Grey states that Prince Albert is willing to donate towards the institution however would not be able to extend his patronage until he has seen how successful they may be.
