Includes the Princess Royal thanking her father for the photo of 'Grandpapa' from the daguerreotype. She writes that the newspaper piece is in the wrong but confirms problems surrounding the German flag flying and mentions William I of Prussia's speech. She also refers to Charles I [of England], the elections and her son having a passion for machines.
