Includes the Princess Royal referring to the memorandum regarding Bertie [Prince of Wales] and that she has not received an answer yet from Princess Christian [of Denmark]. She writes that William I of Prussia has not had time to write to Prince Albert about Compiègne but all is going well here and refers to William I's speech. She also mentions that Lord Clarendon is well informed on German affairs and expresses her opinion on the Times newspaper with reference to Lord Palmerston.
