She states that it has been a lesson to her to be careful with her choice of servant and that she never trusted ?Sophie. She refers to the Spanish Minister and Princess Alice. She also expresses her thanks to her father for the photo of Sir Frederick and asks if there is one of Sir William Ross. She also mentions a visit from Victor Hohenlohe.
