She writes about politics including the fear that England and France will become very close friends and also refers to Constantinople. She mentions that yesterday they had theatricals at the 'Prince's Palais' and tonight a concert at Bethman-Holweg's. She also refers to an upcoming Carnival, the Concordat in Baden, Count Fürstenstein and [Ernst Moritz] Arndt's death.
