Includes the Princess Royal writing that today is her son's birthday and that these past two years have been the happiest of her life. She also refers to St Elizabeth and refers to Queen Victoria's speech being disapproved of by some people in Germany. She writes further about her son and refers to Mrs Hobbs looking like a 'Medusa' when he pulls her hair. She also expresses her distress at 'being teazed and tormented with questions' about her son's arm.
