      Princess Alice mentions their regret at leaving Osborne and Princess Helena going to the 'riding house'. She also refers to Mr Toward, a 'funny mistake' of Fräulein ?Waner involving Mrs Toward and Miss Hildyard returning from holiday. She also thanks her father for the flowers and refers to Princess Victoria's current joy.
