Photograph of a three-quarter length portrait of Queen Victoria (1819-1901) seated, facing towards the camera. She turns her head three-quarters to the left and gazes down, looking away from the camera. The Queen is dressed in formal clothing having attended a court ceremony. She wears a light colour dress, veil, hair piece decorated with flowers and feathers and a dark colour sash. She holds a pair of light colour  gloves.
