Small leather-bound volume with gold tooling. The album contains photographs (RCINs 2800631-2800687 and 2906482-2906485) collected and arranged by Prince Albert (1819-61). The photographs depict a variety of subjects including the royal family, members of royal household, photographs of works of art and the opening of Crystal Palace at Sydenham.

The first page is inscribed, 'All the Photographs in this Volume were collected and arranged by His Royal Highness The Prince Consort'.
