Photograph of Prince Alfred, later Duke of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha (1844-1900) seated on a pedestal draped with leopard skin, facing the camera and gazing up to the right. He holds a goblet in his raised right hand and places his left hand on his hip. He wears a leopard skin toga, light colour shirt and leggings and sandals. 

Prince Alfred is dressed as Bacchus to represent Autumn for a performance of 'Tableaux of the Seasons' performed at Windsor Castle on 10 February 1854.
