Red leather bound album containing salt paper and albumen photographs | 24.9 x 30.7 x 4.7 cm (album) | RCIN 2905882

Album bound in burgundy leather with gold tooling. The title is in gold on front cover and on spine which has 5 raised bands. All edges of the album are gilt and there is marbled end papers. The album contains photographs (RCINs 2905884-2905992) collected and arranged by Prince Albert (1819-61). The frontispiece (RCIN 2905883) is a note by Prince Albert.
