Photograph of a painting by Paul Delaroche, created between 1849 and 1851. The work depicts the Christ standing on the right, full-length and facing to the viewer. He points upwards with his right hand, whilst offering his left hand to a woman who bows before him. She places her right hand on the Christ's palm and extends her left hand around the shoulders of two children.
